Observatio Domini Petri de Fermat

Cubum autem in duos cubos, aut quadratoquadratum in duos quadratoquadratos, et generaliter nullam in infinitum ultra quadratum potestatem in duos ejusdem nominis fas est dividere: cujus rei demonstrationem mirabilem sane detexi. Hanc marginis exiguitas non caperet.

Hosting and security

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website. Cloudflare processes technical connection data, including visitor IP addresses, to deliver the pages, produce traffic statistics and protect the website against abuse.

Cloudflare checks requests for abuse and may block requests or display a security challenge. We can view information about security events.

Further information is available in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Transfer safeguards and retention

Cloudflare relies on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers to the United States and standard contractual clauses for other relevant international transfers. Its Data Processing Addendum sets out safeguards for data processed on customers' behalf.

For data processed on our behalf, Cloudflare retains it until it is no longer needed to fulfil our service agreement or the agreement ends, whichever comes first, unless the law requires further retention. The Web Analytics periods are described below.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and measure loading performance. It reports information such as pages visited, referring websites, country, browser and device type, and loading times. Browser analytics are disabled for visitors in the European Union. Hosting and security processing still apply.

Cloudflare retains detailed analytics measurements for seven days, then keeps reduced data for longer-term statistics. We can access analytics covering the previous six months. See Cloudflare's analytics documentation.

Security cookies

Cloudflare may use security cookies to remember successful security checks. You can block or delete them in your browser, but this may affect access. See Cloudflare's cookie details.

Your rights

You can request access to your personal data, ask for correction or deletion, or object to its processing. These rights are subject to Swiss data protection law. Contact inquiries@flsmath.ch.
